Basic Information
· Baseball programs for boys ages 5 – 18 as of April 30, 2013. (Little League for ages 8 – 13)
· Softball program for girls ages 5 – 19 as of March 31, 2013. (ELV Softball for all ages)
· Teams will be formed based on the number of children signed up at each age level.
· Skill levels will be balanced as evenly across the teams formed at each age group.
· Evaluations are tentatively scheduled for Sunday, March 10, 2013. (Rain Date March 16th)
· Programs will run from mid-March to mid-June. Programs for older players (15+) with school baseball and softball leagues typically start in May and run through early July.
· Emphasis will be on developing skills, having fun, and healthy competition.
Registration
· Registration may be completed on-line (now closed) or may be completed in person at the Lower Nazareth Township Municipal Building, 306 Butztown Rd, Bethlehem, PA during the following dates:
Saturday, January 19th 10AM – 1PM
Saturday, January 26th 10AM – 1PM
Thursday, February 7th 6:30PM – 8PM
· Registration forms may be downloaded from our website, completed at home, and delivered to the one of the above registration dates. Please complete a separate medical release form for each child, if registering more than one player in your household.
· On-line Registration will be open January 15th through February 7th.
· DEADLINE TO REGISTER is February 7, 2013.
· NO REFUNDS will be provided after March 1, 2013.

· All checks should be made payable to LNRA Baseball.
· For payment of on-line registrations, please mail two (2) separate checks; one for the registration fees and fundraiser, and one for the work/uniform bond ($100). Mail payments to LNRA Baseball, c/o Brian Yost, 315 Manor Dr, Nazareth, PA 18064.
· Work/Uniform Bonds will not be cashed unless the volunteer obligation is not satisfied or the uniform is not returned in the same condition as when it was issued.
· League Age for boys is determined as of April 30, 2013.
· League Age for girls is determined as of April 1, 2013.
Volunteer Obligation
· All parents/guardians are required to volunteer for one of the following committees in order to help keep the organization running: Concessions, Field/Facility Maintenance, Equipment/Uniforms, Fundraising, Head Coach, or Assistant Coach.
Coaches
All persons wanting to volunteer as a coach must be cleared by LNRA and Lower Nazareth Township before participating in any LNRA organized practices or games. For more information, please see volunteers or contact an LNRA Director or Officer.
